I have giveaway my Dopod 818pro to my brother, I got myself a new PDA an HTC Hermes 300 aka Dopod 838pro. The first thing that i realized about the 838pro is the startup time is longer compared to the 818pro. Before 818pro I've used HP 6828 which is very fast but very unstable. I sold it off after using it for 3 weeks. Can't cope with the constant resetting. The 838pro even though slow at start up but show promising power when it is up and running. The reason I change to this PDA is because I got it very cheap only RM2000 but the catch is only one month warranty. But who needs warranty if the price is cheaper by a thousand ringgit. I'm happy with it. I managed to upgrade it to WM6 using rom from Dopod which I can download for free as I'm a registered Dopod user. Tq Dopod.

wow..u must be a gadget person...i used to own O2 but after dropped it twice, the motherboard dah jahanam...cost me RM500 to repair for the first drop but the second one no..now im thinking to buy the latest O2 but not so sure about it...can u give some tips ab PDA?
Ok, If you have the money go for O2 I mean they are expensive the best one around is O2 Flame... almost 3600++ in the market. You can even use it for presentation as it has video out function. It is also among the fastest PDA now. If you are a gadget guy like I am you would be salivating to own one. However if you are a casual user who want style and ease of use go for HTC Touch much cheaper and also thinner and smaller in size. The new PDA interface will be fun and easier to use. Another thing many of the O2's model are actually made by HTC and rebrand as O2.
