Canon Powershot G9

I came across a website on the launched of the new Canon Powershot G9. It is known as the flagship of the powershot series. Made to look like the classic range finder but packs the latest in compact digital photography. I only read about it. I have used and tried even owned most of the camera made however canon had never been one except for the time I used the film type canon prima. I hope to get this camera as it fits most of my needs. I photograph events, group photos for my school, my club and also the kampung. For outdoor, sports and action photography I used a Lumix FZ5. I'm not a pro, I'm just someone who like to take photos. This camera caters my need for simplicity yet it also offers me the chance for me to play with the manual mode that it offers. Furthermore I like the fact that this camera has the face detection function this is because it will be a great help when I shoot photos of people at function and also group photo. The faces tend to be to shiny or dark sometimes blurred so with the face detection tech. I hope it will end my problem with people 's faces.
